Hello, my name is Jenny Tiêu; yes it's legally Jenny, not Jennifer. I am a multi-disciplinary designer, a self-titled storyteller, and an animal enthusiast. I am a recent graduate of York University and Sheridan College's Design program. I'm currently at Klick as a Motion and Video Editor.
As a young adult, I draw inspiration from the vast well of culture to explore and question my identity as a Canadian and a person of colour. Design provides me with the opportunity to communicate stories, discover new questions and answers, as well as to grow as a person. I am always looking forward to satisfying my curiosity, learning new skills and technology to help develop and support my ability to communicate.
I am interested in learning more and developing my skills as a designer but my passions are in 2D and 3D motion graphics, information visualization, and package design. As a professional within the digital field, I hope to use design as a tool to push boundaries and challenge myself as a designer and a problem-solver. I like challenges, the process of breaking down a problem and finding a solution. I also love figuring out how I can use technology to tell stories in a way that is new, insightful, and engaging.
